Winter is the Death of Me

Written by Jyoshi W.

As winter takes on its deathly grip,
The harshest winds are free to whip
The warm blooded creatures that roam below,
For winter is one of their greatest foes.
As frost bites, Earth becomes hell
Where no creature could live to tell.
At that moment, all living see,
Winter is the death of me.
Our hearts become frozen,
Unable to love,

As the skies darken with the great clouds above.
The first snowflake falls, marking war,
Against the hearts winter has tore.

Winter,

So harsh it froze the waves of sea.
So evil it laughs at mercy.
Winter is the death of me.
